| مشرف عضو ماسي | GUINEA STUN MOROCCO more news 24th January 2008 Guinea revived their aspirations of making an impact in the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations with a 3-2 victory over Morocco in the second round match of Group A at the Ohene Djan Stadium. The Guineans were however dealt with a big blow when captain Pascal Feindouno who scored twice, but got sent off, with 30 minutes left for the close of the game. Back from a 2-1 defeat suffered at the hands of host Ghana, the Guineans displayed enough determination to redeem their image and succeeded in taking the lead, 10 minutes into the game. It was Feindouno's curling free-kick in the 57th minute, that gave Guinea a first-half lead, before the close of the half. Two minutes later, he set up Ismael Bangoura who scored with a left-footed shot. Seconds later Hicham Aboucherouane's superb strike pulled a goal back for Morocco, before Feindouno's penalty strike took a pulsating game to 3-1. He was then red-carded, with Abdeslem Ouaddou heading in Morocco's second. Feindouno's sending-off could cost him at least a two-match suspension in the 58th minute. The remaining minutes saw Morocco doing all the attacking, and Ouaddou's header in the last minute set up a tense climax. This was not enough to fetch them the equaliser. | ||
