Superstars give thanks

On the eve of Thanksgiving, the Superstars and Divas of WWE offered their thoughts on what they had to be thankful for during the upcoming holiday season. Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at WWE.com:

Brian Major: I’m thankful for everything. It’s been a whirlwind year for Brett and I. And a lot of our hard work is paying off as we speak. It’s a really exciting time.

I think people are thinking they’re too old and I think I’m an inspiration to people coming into this business. ... Seven years is long for a woman and I’m still going. … I think I’m thankful to be such a positive inspiration to kids, not just being another pretty face and body in here, but being a strong character.

I’ve been enamored with the pageantry and the larger than life status that sports-entertainment brings. The fact that I am a WWE Superstar, the fact that I can forge a legacy and hopefully be remembered with some of the great athletes that have come before me, that are here right now and that are to come is a humbling experience for me. Now that I’ve moved into more of a managerial role, I am so thankful for the fact that I am part a renaissance almost because that aspect of wrestling is gone. There are no more Bobby Heenans and Paul Joneses, Jimmy Harts or Oliver Humperdincks. The fact that [عزيزي الزائر يتوجب عليك التسجيل للمشاهدة الرابطللتسجيل اضغط هنا] is able to introduce an entirely new generation to an aspect of the sport that’s unfortunately been forgotten is something that I am extremely, extremely thankful. On top of that, I’m so thankful for the blessings and opportunities that I have, that my body and my mind allow me to be a true here and a role model to children. There are no more heroes. Professional athletes are every day appearing on the news for all the wrong reasons. Musicians and actors, again, appearing on the news for alls orts of licentious behavior. I am thankful for the fact that I know that I am blessed, but I will go out there and try to be a hero to every kid that’s out there. They can watch me. They may not like me, but if they want to look for a blueprint of how to live their life, look to Matt Striker. Those are the things that I’m thankful for.
